A simple and easy way to use rhubarb. Usually served over ice cream. Also good to snack on. High in fiber, Vitamin C and calcium. 1 cup of diced rhubarb is only 26 calories!

Use graham cracker crust. Or make your own: Mix :
- 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. melted butter
Lightly toast in oven @375 degrees x 6-8 minutes
- 2 c. raspberries
- 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
- 1/2 c. yogurt (plain works with sugar or any flavor.)
Top with whipped cream. Refrigerate leftovers. I think any kind of berry would work in this recipe. What would you try?
Be aware as the hotter weather comes around to make sure lighters are stored properly. This lighter blew up and could have caused a lot of damage. Not everyone gets a second chance.
Lighters left in cars can often over heat with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees. With BBQ season coming around it’s easy to see matches and lighters being left out by the grill. They should be stored out of the sun and in an area free from any flammable material.
Camping season has already started for some and with Memorial Day right around the corner the fire risk increases. Take the Smokey the Bear pledge to help prevent forest fires. There’s already been more than half a million acres burned this year.

It seems like every time I went to Grandma’s house she was baking bonitza. She would have me recite back her instructions and ingredients. If you like bread and butter and cottage cheese, you’ll like this! It can be eaten warm or cold.
Homemade noodles are really easy to make. Only 2 ingredients!
- 1 c. flour
- 1 egg
Mix until dough. May need to add a little water if too dry. Flour surface and roll flat. Cut into strips. May dry for use later.
